Scott Siwicki has been appointed the new Managing Director at award winning medical recruitment consultancy Primary Care Professionals. The company founder, Tawhid Juneja, is now the company’s CEO.
Scott, who has over 20 years experience in the recruitment and business service sector, was formerly the Director for Sales at RTM, part of the Rethink Group, supporting clients talent management programmes across EMEA & APAC. Prior to joining RTM Scott was Interim Managing Director at Chanel3 Resourcing and Cooper Burns and, for nine years, at CDI AndersElite as Director of Operations and Business Development.
He says “I have known Tawhid for a number of years with paths crossing as they do in recruitment and he contacted me again when I was recommended to him by a mutual contact. Although extremely happy at RTM, Tawhid offered me a tremendous opportunity to be part of a genuinely innovative, market disrupting, rapidly expanding and very successful company he set up only three years ago.
“Leaving Rethink, recent IRP award winners, was a difficult decision but I could see that the skills and expertise I’ve gained during my career can really make a big difference to Primary Care Professionals. It gives me the chance to be creative and help to scale up a business that has been on the fast track for its first three years and is about to go ‘supersonic’.
“I’m in the process of getting to know the team and developing a very clear strategy that will take the company into its next growth phase. Tawhid is a natural entrepreneur and the creation of this new position for me will free him up to forge ahead with his very exciting and ambitious plans to leverage our success and move us from a recruitment consultancy to a professional services business.”
Tawhid Juneja says “I’ve been in recruitment for 15 years and before I set up Primary Care Professionals I spent a year researching the healthcare sector. Our success to date has been amazing and we have so many ideas for the future. I realised that I can’t do everything myself and needed to increase my senior management team to support our company growth.
“It took a lot of persuading to get Scott to join us but once he saw that we have created a very solid foundation and an exciting business with enormous potential we managed to secure him.
